Come on, a CVS?

About the burned IHOP building on meridian and the construction of a CVS. The rave says GREAT new stuff. Well poop on you. It's a CVS... right across from a Walgreens. Prime real estate like that on Indy's main street should go to a more "Indy" bizz than some corprate CVS. When visitors drive on in they are greeted with commercial crap that you can get anywhere instead of a real flavor of Indy. I'll chalk that decision up to our lovely mayor.

oh, please, these two are like peas in a pod, they always snuggle up to each other. But CVS has the advantage because they sell booze.

If history has taught us anything, it's that you can never have enough chain pharmacies. It is getting pretty ridiculous though. Walgreens is terrible and as mentioned before they don't sell booze. Hey! What about the fact that there's a CVS 3 blocks away at 18th and Illinois? How many cosmetics, snacks, cold remedies, and as-seen-on-tv items does one city really need?
