I recently visited the Crysler Jeep dealership on 96th street to purchase a new car. When inquiring about the gas mileage I was informed by the salesman that MPG should not be a factor in determining a car because gas prices are low right now. I understand that car salesmen are known for their bullshit, but this is a new low, especially in this struggling economy.
Most of us are well aware and prepared for DTV. If it's not the local stations beating the DTV "revolution" to death, it's the tv celebrities that have 15 second spots littering the programming. The government has even issued coupons to assist in the purchase of the boxes. It's such a big phenomenon that there are scam artists selling fake DTV boxes. Even with this overkill of DTV abuse to the people of Indianapolis there are still 100,000 homes with antennas. They can't possibly still be confused about this crossover can they? This could be a good thing though. Like the ending of Cable Guy where all the TVs go to snow and people start to pick up books again. After the switch its going to be fun to watch the chaos.
