Cold Hands

Steph

I know it's cold outside when you're collecting the carts at the grocery store, but don't warm your hands under the heatlamps of the fried food. Gross.

It's never too early to start bitching about Winter in Indiana. What a shitty day. And it'll probably do this cold rain garbage for a week or two until it gives way to full-on ice and snow and stupid people who drive like they've never seen the shit before. Screw today. I'm gonna go inside and take my pants off.

Ice

How long have you lived in Indianapolis? Have we not learned by now that it snows in Indiana? How much longer will it take for you to learn how to drive in inclimate conditions? I'm wondering because driving 35 mph down an icy road and nearly sliding off just honestly doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Also please remember that just because the roads are bad doesn't mean you should drive 5mph down the road asshole.

Road Commission

Jan 15, 2009
Haley - Home

Thank you road commission for getting the highways clear and thank you for forgetting my road so I could get stuck in a intersection and not get out. Thank you for making me late to work and yell at an old lady to mind her business.

Where the hell are the snowplows?

Jan 27, 2009
T.B. - Downtown

So I just drove from downtown to Broadripple and back again and... where the hell are all the snow plows that I read about right before leaving the house?! They knew this shit was coming, everybody did, they've been warning us about it for days. So why weren't the streets being taken care of AT ALL?! Here are a few of the streets on my route today: Delaware, 38th, College, Keystone, 70, Mass Ave, etc... Am I wrong, or are these some of the major streets in the city? I saw 4 plows TOTAL (on this 2 and a half hour trip). 3 had their plow UP and one was parked. WTF?!! I have to say, people were driving pretty reasonably for the conditions, so that's good, but where the hell is the cavalry of snow plows that I heard the city was gonna deploy?! Maybe we should throw another "Luau," Mayor Ballard, and keep on pretending winter just doesn't exist.

Snowplows?

Feb 1, 2009
jellybean - indianapolis

Do we NOT have snowplows in this State? I was watching the news and every picture showed a snowplow, was that from last year because I have yet to see one. I see school-busses crashing everywhere, so are we waiting until some kids die before we break out the plow trucks? Damn greedy Hoosiers!

What's Up Chuck

April 14, 2009
Meaty D - East Side

Chuck Lofton is not a meteorologist he is just a TV personality, who has reported the weather for 20 years. It is because of this that his weather reports are always wrong. If you listen to him talk in between his belches on air you will discover two things.

One. He knows that his report will be wrong. He will say check back in at noon to see what Jude will say about the day.

Two. He forgets himself that he isn't a meteorologist. He says he is but one sure fire way to know that he isn't is the introduction. Chris Wright and Jude Redfield have an introduction that states their certificates, Chuck and Nicole Misensik are just winging it.

How can the #1 station in Indiana be giving Indianapolis a weather report that any shulb can give. Does this have indication of how their news is compiled?

suicide?

Dec 26, 2008

On Christmas eve 2008 in broad daylight a man shoots himself in the chest and dies. Only fox reports this with just a paragraph and every other Indy media brushes it under the table, If they disregarded this then what else aren't they telling us?
